Your Real-Life Passions Build Camming Connections

Your Real-Life Passions Build Camming Connections

While looks and charisma are a big part of the cam model mystique, many will tell you their fans are often looking for more than just a sexual connection. That’s why it’s important to set yourself apart in a sea of talented models and find new ways to keep your admirers engaged.

One way you can accomplish this is by incorporating your personal interests into your cam shows. Aside from making you more appealing to your target audience, it’s also a great way to turn your career into your passion. The good news is there’s such a huge market for cam performers, you’re likely to find a loyal fan base no matter what your interests are.

The_MILF_Becca, for example, has been a makeup artist for over 10 years and realized she could capitalize on that when she showcased her makeup skills during a series of Halloween shows in 2017. “I went all out with multiple looks, like Jessica Rabbit, glam zombie and a cheetah look. The members went nuts and they were three of my best days ever on cam!”

Once she realized how much fans enjoyed her playful transformations, she started incorporating them into her shows year-round, with her most popular looks ranging from sugar skulls to sexy clowns. While applying her detailed makeup looks is too tedious a process to do on camera, she says she always keeps a tube of lipstick handy because fans love watching her glide it slowly across her lips.

With gaming becoming increasingly more popular, there’s also a huge market for models who are interested in discussing and playing video games with their viewers. Longtime gamer and cam model Samantha_Squirt says that sharing her love of gaming is a lot of fun, and it also gives fans a way to connect with her beyond their sexual needs.

“You’d be surprised at the number of members who tell me, ‘Omg, you’re real,’ or ‘Thank you for talking to me,’ because they are looking for social connection as much as sexual connection. I feel like I can provide both by sharing my gaming interests. I have a lot of regulars who come in for their kink fix, sure, but they open up with a decent chat and some laughter first to set the mood and get a full experience,” she says.

She incorporated gaming into her shows when members started commenting on her gaming-relating figurines and costumes. “It made me realize how many fellow gamers come to see me. I totally love geeking out about the games I play, so being able to do so on an almost daily basis is super fun!” she observes.

World-renowned cosplayer and cam model Alora Jaymes says her passion for cosplay has brought her new fans, as well as new friends within the model community who share her interests.

“I love combining my love of dressing up and getting naughty on cam because it has brought me fans that are passionate about the same fandoms as I am,” she explains. “We get to create our own naughty fanfiction live on cam! It has also helped me connect with other models that are into the same things, and I absolutely love getting to know other naughty nerds.”

She adds that it is even more lucrative when she and other cosplay-loving cam models join forces, stating, “It’s a chance for us to combine our fandoms and fan bases to have a naughty, nerdy blast!”

The_MILF_Becca says that bringing her passion for makeup and camming together keeps her excited about logging in. Aside from using her unique looks to keep her viewers engaged, she cooks and paints on cam as well to help her build a good relationship with her fan base. “Outside of giving members a chance to get to know me, it also can set me apart a bit,” she says. “They can tell I’m having a great time, and that definitely makes them want to come back for more!”
